Our trip 25 th of November till 3rd of December 2018

We have seen almost every town, village and street of Palma de Mallorca. We’ve stayed at Platja de Palma and travelled around the island with our Fiat Panda.

Our favourite places
  • Montuïri
  • Sóller and Port de Sóller
  • Formentor, Cap de Formentor and Far de Formentor
  • Alcudia
  • Banyalbufar, Deia and Valdemossa
Rent a car
When you rent-a-car you should check out the amount of a deposit, which can be very variable from agency to agency. We love the arrangement at Ricky’s Agency at Platja the Palma.
Our favourite Bar

There are “German” places and there are “English” places, but we prefer local places. Our favourite pub in Platja de Palma is Cafeteria LA VENTA. The place is Spanish loud and it is perfect for a beer or two with tapas (jarra = big beer).

Dictionary
  • Jarra = Large beer
  • Cerveza = Beer
  • Café con leche = Coffee with milk
  • Gracias = Thank you
  • Por favour = Please

Hotel Christina 4*, Iberostar

We were very satisfied with our Hotel Christina 4*, Iberostar. The choice of food for breakfast and dinner is just amazing. Every evening is a different Theme. Because it is a self-service you always take more than you can really eat. The service was great, the staff is friendly.
